We intend to follow recognized Artist from Berlin's Art Scene whom arrived to the city from all over the world, full of passion and ambitions as they're searching for their own personal path in this eclectic city.

The special feature of this documentary is to show which are their dreams, fears and hopes behind their work.

"Berlin7Arts" intends to follow them during their day-lives, describing how they work and live the city, from where they get their inspirations and what Berlin offers them as Artists.

This documentary conserves a unique moment on Berlin's history, 2013, because it is changing continuously. By showing it diversity of faces, from known streets to little hidden places as people from different social and artistic backgrounds.

This film intends to portray Berlin by showing Seven Artists from their unique perspective and it will describe how the city have been influenced them, their lives and Art work.

Seven Artists - Seven Countries - Seven different people from the Arts -

OUR ARTISTS

NASAN TUR
Nasan was born in Offenbach (Germany) and lived for a period of time in Turkey. At the moment he is exhibiting an art work “Berlin says” in the Hamburger Bahnhof, which is a creation about hundrers of graffitis collected from different walls of the city.

REANATA KAMINSKA
Renata is famous for her poor art and her work on public spaces. She is producing ins- tallations, tearing of posters from the streets, building big sculptures with them. On 2013 She was also part of La Biennale di Arte di Venezia with a public sculpture ‘BNL Collage VCE”.

LUTZ HENKE
Lutz is living in Berlin since he is a kid, exact- ly since 1991. Today is one of the youn- gest and most famous curators of the Art Scene in Berlin. Thanks to his ideas he gave birth to many projects like the Blu Murales, which he was coordinating and financing.

CATHERINE LORENT
Catherine is a young artist from Luxembourg. She is a painter, produces sculptures and is also a musician. Her work was also shown at La Biennale di Arte di Venezia at Luxem- burg Pavilion.

MOON SOUK
Moon is a corean artist who moved into Berlin when the wall was still dividing Germa- ny and Europe. She is a lyrical singer and also works as a painter and photographer and she represents perfectly the idea of the nowadays artist in Berlin.

SILVINA DER MEGUERDITCHIAN
Silvina is the granddaughter of the Armenian im- migrants in Argentina. She was born in Buenos Aires in 1967, grew up in Argen- tina and lives in Berlin since 1988. Her artistic work deals with issues related to the burden of national identities, memo- ries and the role of the minorities in the society.

MIMMO CATANIA
Mimmo is an Italian artist, who was born in Sicily. In 1986 he moved into Berlin, where he is known as an artist. Mimmo is known internationally and also his work was shown at La Biennale di Arte di Venezia at the Italian Pavilion.
